Carnot’s Cube explores the concept of the Carnot power cycle by the use of a fun to solve puzzle. On the top of the cube is a hot reservoir which transfers heat to a boiler on the side of the cube, heating liquid water till it becomes a saturated vapor. To the right of the boiler on the next face of the cube is a turbine which takes steam from the boiler side of the cube and creates work and releases a liquid-vapor mixture to the next power cycle component. On the next face of the cube is a condenser which takes the liquid-vapor and changes it to pure liquid by transferring heat to a cold reservoir on the bottom face of the cube. On the next face the pure liquid is pumped back to the boiler face with work input and the cycle is completed.
